Hot Time - Summer In The City

My three signs that summer has really started: first visit from the mosquito spray truck, my glasses fog up in the humidity after getting out of an air-conditioned car and the sidewalk is too hot to walk on barefoot.

I've already hit two out of three. Yesterday on April 3rd(!) my glasses fogged up at 7:30 in the morning. And tonight the mosquito spray truck went by twice.

I normally wouldn't experience either of these events until at least late April. And the sidewalk usually doesn't get too overheated for bare feet until mid-May. I have a feeling I'll be lunging for the coolness of the grass to escape the scorching cement soon. I think it's going to be a very hot and mosquito-laden summer.

Cordova/memphis area is right over the state line of Ms. So just driving 8 hours, mostly through mississippi, and the weather kept getting hotter and hotter lol! We even turned on the air at home. I believe you're right, it's going to be a hot one!

Re: ;0
Ray action from the sun has been known to cause a phenomenon referred to as heat. Here in the Deep South we feel the heat far too many months of the year.
