Andre The Giant

I've been a fan of Andre Agassi since he first hit the tennis scene. As he winds up his tennis career at the 2006 U.S. Open, I find this article about his personal and profesional journey. It's worth reading even if you're not a fan of tennis or Andre because it's the story of a person's search for meaning in life.

A Fun Time Was Had By All

Last night I had a dream that weelisa and I just happened to be staying in the same hotel. Lisa was wearing a white dress with clogs when I spied her in the opulent lobby. We decided to make a day of it together.

Our first fun activity was doing crossword puzzles on a veranda. We helped each other out with clues and drank champagne while working on them. Then we were so worn out from the puzzling and guzzling of the bubbly that we took a nap together. No, not in the same bed! Our hotel rooms had convenient twin beds like Rob and Laura Petrie. After our refreshing nap, we went shopping at thrift stores and yard sales for goodies. I found a pink fluffy pillow-type item that was sparkly and cube shaped. Lisa found a beautiful emerald green wrap made of a silky fabric and a holographic picture frame. The picture frame projected a 3-D image of any picture you put into it. She paid $2 for the frame.

That's all I remember. No sign of Jim or Juannie. We did talk about them fondly but they were nowhere to be seen in my dream.
