Sean Payton = Yoda

This made me laugh. It's my desktop background so I get a chuckle everytime I'm on the computer. It's from Dillyberto over at Our New Orleans Saints.

"Our Coach is not from the swamps of southern Louisiana.
Not from the swamps of Florida
Not even from the swamps of the planet Earth

Our Coach is from Dagobah

Or at least he’s been there for some Jedi training."

Sean Payton has become a fan favorite. "He's unlike any Saints head coach the city has seen. And not just because the team is winning."

Mistaken Identity

Bess and Rocky, who for the record are Pembroke Welsh Corgis, are spending this lovely day locked up because we have workmen in the house and in the backyard. I took them for a late morning trot by the playground to work off a bit of their energy. Some kids were playing on the swings, in uniform, waiting for their football game to start.

One cute little guy, who was wearing his helmet, told a teammate, "Look at those Bulldogs."

"Those aren't Bulldogs. They don't have round heads," responded player #2.

Player #1 said solemnly, "I'm afraid of Bulldogs."

"Really? I'm not. They can't breathe good so I know I can outrun them," player #2 declared.

It was all I could do not to laugh out loud at this exchange as we passed them.

Last year, a little boy at the playground called them Rotweillers. And now they are mistaken for Bulldogs. (Check out Tyson, the skateboarding Bulldog.)
