How I Spent The First Morning of Spring

The insidious allergy invaders are now attacking me in the middle of the night. I woke up at 2:30AM due to the steady stream coming from the previously mentioned nostril. Once I was fully awake and they had my attention, the devilish allergens revved up an endless bout of back crumbling sneezes. I also had a headache and one of my ears was clogged. All of these lovely symptoms added up to another night of no sleep. I finally got back to sleep around 5:45 which is SO GREAT because my alarm is set for 6AM.

Wow! Fifteen whole minutes of rest really make up for 3 hours and fifteen minutes of draining, snorting, achooing and nose blowing. I felt so not refreshed after the fab fifteen that I called in sick to work. I didn't really feel horrible but I was exhausted. Once I made the phone call, I immediately started snoozing and stayed that way until 11:30AM.

I've avoided the newly Sprung outdoors today because it's very windy and I know that more little airborne allergy fiends are blowing around just outside the door waiting to glom on to me.
