Hippy Dippy Weather Report

Because I love weather info and I saw it over by weelisa...

Sunrise 5:59
Sunset 8:03
Twilight Daylight Hours 14hrs 4min

Latitude and Longitude 29°57′53″N -90°4′14″W (During hurricane season I am always listening for 30 and 90.)
Altitude is 1-2 Feet Below Sea Level (During hurricane season and all of the other seasons this can cause lots of problems.)

It is 78 degrees Fahrenheit (25.55 for you Celsius folks). Wind is averaging 11 miles per hour with gusts up to 22 miles per hour. Relative humidity 77%. Right now it is storming. It is raining so hard that I can't see the building across the street through my window. We are experiencing lots of lightning and thunder.

Funny - I wonder why we have more daylight hours than you?

I think Manitoba is of a pretty low elevation - I mean, we were the bottom of a sea once. That's why whenever they dig up old bones, it is always of a sea critter. You start to get higher and higher as you go west.

Your temps sound pretty mild for your neck of the woods. Today it is only going up to 19 C which is cooler than normal but it is supposed to go up 29 at the end of the week.

We had a thunderstorm warning last night. It was quite clear this morning but now the dang clouds are back and they're talking of a few more thunder showers. Poo-ville.

I hope the weather is going to clear up like they predict for the weekend because I'll be helping someone have a garage sale.

I don't know why you would have more daylight. I'll have to do some research.

We could not dig up anything here except water. When I was a kid, a fun diversion was digging a hole until we hit water. Dig down about 18 inches. Voila! Your hole had water in it. That's why everyone in New Orleans is buried above ground.

The cloud cover is keeping the temps down today. Normally it would be around 90 degrees (32.22 Celsius) this time of year. Although early last week, we had temps in the mid-90s and the heat index was 110. It was miserable. It got better by the weekend.

It's too hot here for a garage sale. All the stuff and the customers would melt.

Izzy and I barely made it back before the sky opened and water fell ... but my plants are sure happy.
