Oh For A Dem Convention That Really Means Something!
I come out of semi-retirement to ask some questions: Is it wrong of me to wish for a 2008 Democratic convention that really means something? Is it wrong to hope that it will be more than just an endless commercial for a candidate who sewed everything up in the Spring? Isn't it a good thing that voters still have a real choice after the so-called Super Tuesday? (I'm glad that my vote will still count on Saturday in the Louisiana primary.)
I know the Democratic party would prefer to save all of this cash for the battle against the Republican candidate but I like the unpredictability of this.
