Make It A Soda For Me

Do you say pop, soda or coke when referring to a sweet carbonated beverage? Check out the maps charting the geographic preferences for these words.

Everyone around here says coke and the map agrees. But when I was a kid, I always thought it was goofy to ask, "What kind of coke do you want?" And then hear the response, "Dr. Pepper." So I started saying soda to avoid all of that foolishness.
