We Don't Like Ike

Got home from evacuation for Gustav on Thursday to find that we had power and no damage. Now I am wearily and warily watching Ike prowling off the coast of Cuba. The current track takes him into Texas but there's no certainty until landfall so the whole Gulf Coast region waits.

Saturday is supposed to be the first day of our beach trip in Fort Morgan, AL. I really would like to go on vacation. I need some relaxation. I wish that Ike would fall apart so friends and family in Texas, especially yellowdoggrl, or anywhere else around these parts do not have to deal with his bullying. As Ray Nagin put it, "Ike needs to find Tina and just go someplace else." I actually agree with Ray on that one.
