Rock Me Amadeus!

A painting owned by a German art gallery since 1934 was recently identified as the final portrait of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The gallery purchased it as a painting with an unidentified subject. The gallery's senior custodian commissioned analysis of the painting and had assistance from a Mozart expert. The painting is now believed to have been painted in 1790 which is a year before Mozart's death at the age of thirty-five.
