Lundi Gras

I am at work today. There's not much going on because everyone is ready to go home and get partying. Tomorrow is the big day, Mardi Gras. Tonight, we are going to the Orpheus parade. This promises to be exciting because we have never been to this one before. The parade is now ten years old but we lived away from New Orleans most of those years. Since we moved back two years ago, it poured on those two Monday nights so we stayed warm and dry at home. I have my fingers crossed for tonight. I really want to see this parade.

And the plans for tomorrow are in a holding pattern as we wait on Mother Nature to decide what the weather will be. Juannie and I both have the day off tomorrow so it will be a fun day even if we have to stay home.
